Offering customers an excellent choice of four engine variants, the S40 and V40 range are designed for all Volvo customers, from those who want a fun 1.8 to those who want more power from the turbo-charged T4 SE.
All four 2000 variants come standard with air conditioning, central locking and heated electric mirrors, twin child booster seats, Home Safe lighting and cabin pollen filters.
Available for a short time across Australia are the bright yellow Limited Edition Super Touring S40 and V40 T4 SE.
The stand out cars will also be available in silver and black and are packed with 19 extras as standard, including DSA anti-spin system, five speaker stereo system, remote controlled central locking, and first aid kit.
These sporty S40 sedans and V40 wagons are fitted with powerful turbo-charged four cylinder engines and come standard with some unique features including the "Ares" 16" alloy wheels and are available from $54,564, GST- reduced.
Also available to motor show customers for only $1000 extra, the Volvo S40 1.8 and V40 1.8 can be equipped with the luxurious SE pack which adds remote central locking, sporty "Arcturus" alloy wheels, woodline trim and a six disc CD stacker.
These impressive additions would normally add $4,200 to the price of the car.
The 1.8 and 2.0 litre engines of the S40 and V40 have been refined for 2000 and now deliver better performance, lower fuel consumption, lower emissions and quieter operation for an improved drive and are priced from $39,950, GST-reduced.
