My Volvo search continues

Sadly, the search for a V40 is still ongoing.

I found a very good one for sale, a 1997 model T4 manual in Summer Green. It has travelled only 160,000 km and is owned by a Volvo professional/enthusiast and has been very well cared for.

Unfortunately, it's a long way away in another state and once I add the cost of getting it home and registered locally it turns out quite expensive.

Very recently another prospect came up for sale a bit closer to home, although still 3 hours drive away. This one was a 2000 model T4 manual in black with black interior and 16" Ares wheels. Based on these specifications, it is likely that this is one of the limited-edition Super Tourer models that were sold by Volvo Australia in 2000. This one had 200,000 on the clock and looked to be in good condition. I was really interested in this one as they do look good in black, and I liked the idea of it being a limited-edition model, and also the "phase 1.5" B4194T2 is the most sought after of the engines. But after making some initial enquiries it was marked as sold the next day.
