Updates on my phase 2 Volvo V40

Recent mini projects include replacing my frayed seat belt with a second hand replacement. These are pretty simple to replace and I bought one from a Facebook group member. They are getting hard to find in good condition but I did find a company in WA that can replace the belt for $125 which was my next option.

I spent $14 on new wheel stickers from AliExpress. They didn't make a lot of difference given the state of the wheels. Hopefully the stickers don't fall off too quickly. I actually have a set of BBS 16" wheels for the car but they need tyres and the current 15" wheels have near new Pirelli and Michelin tyres which I don't want to waste. These wheels use 56mm badges but other S/V40 wheels can be different, for example the BBS wheels use 64mm badges.

One night I replaced the light for the transmission selector (T5 12V 1.2W), which went fine, but then I thought I would also replace the lights on the climate control panel as two or of the three were not working. Unfortunately I didn't have the right bulbs and somehow ended up with all of the lights not working when I got it back together. Plus the fragile vent area gave way completely. I have ordered some generic T4.2 lights which I hope will fit.

Need a new washer bottle cap? I can confirm the ones on eBay, Aliexpress, etc fit our cars perfectly. I paid $2.62 for mine, but it did take a month to come from China. If you are searching for one of these, they aren't usually listed for the S/V40 but for various other cars including the Ford Focus.
