Cannonball races are a form of motorsport, including and inspired by the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash (Cannonball Run) that first ran between 1971 and 1979. These events are typically illegal, non-stop, cross-country races with few rules.
